Pathways
BDNC is supportive of all players and our aim is to provide the pathway that best suits the individual.

BDNC caters for those who wish to keep “learning and playing the game” in a more social environment through to those who are interested in pursuing a higher level of competition, inclusive of additional weekly training and competition games.
Association Representative Teams
For those players seeking regular association tournament days in the year, then representative level is your next step!

Association trials for U11, U13, U15 and U17 are held annually for players wishing to try out for representative teams. The representative teams train weekly, play regular Netball Victoria tournaments and may play weekly games.

BDNC acknowledges the financial and time commitment for both the player and supportive family in participating in Representative levels. BDNC celebrates these players as mentors for our younger players.
Player pathways
Netball Victoria’s Talent Identification (T.I.D) program provides development opportunities for identified Victorian netballers to reach their potential. To access this program, talented players are identified at Association level and either included in Association Representative teams or recommended directly to Netball Victoria.
The representative teams are able to participate in their Zone Based Association tournament, where talent scouts view players and invite selected players to attend Zone Academy Selections or a U19 Screening Day.
